Practicum 3 (Fall 2025)

During my third practicum, I designed and delivered a Grade 6/7 unit on the solar system entirely in French. To support diverse learners, I implemented Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies, including a collaborative graffiti board and an interactive vocabulary wall. I reinforced key terms daily using visual aids to bypass reading barriers. Additionally, I taught an outdoor experiential lesson where students launched film canister rockets to observe the physical forces of space flight firsthand.

While planning and delivering this unit entirely in French presented a new challenge for me, the students’ enthusiasm and engagement made it an incredibly rewarding experience.
