I truly enjoyed working with students in this program as it was incredibly fulfilling to witness their growth, both in reading skills and in confidence, over the course of the term. This experience taught me that, while each student may require a different approach to help them master reading, all students thrive when given one-on-one attention and support. It was especially rewarding to talk to the students who struggle with reading about the books they loved. This showed me that, even though reading was a challenging task for those students, they still found joy in books. This experience deepened my appreciation for personalized teaching and the impact it can have on a student’s development.
