The redesigned curriculum shifts from a teacher-centered approach to a student-centered model that emphasizes holistic learning including critical thinking, collaboration, respect for others, and social-emotional well-being. Moving away from a top-down structure, it gives educators more freedom in how they approach the curriculum. This shift is reflected in the classroom where students are encouraged to take greater responsibility for their learning. I believe this change is a positive one as it allows teachers the flexibility to tailor their instruction to better meet the needs and interests of their students. It also permits teachers to continually incorporate new perspectives and discoveries into their lessons to keep their teaching current and relevant.
